Best deal on an Apple laptop

I am looking to replace my son's laptop with an Apple Macbook to avoid the viruses he keeps getting. Where can I get the best deal?

the best deal we found when we bought all 4 of our apples---we LOVE them----is to buy online thru shop discover using your discover card. You get 5% cash back. It sounds like you might be able to use the student discount also. They will walk you thru the process over the phone if you need to, just remember to go thru discovers site to get to the apple's page. Hope this makes sense. It was a long day. I saw a refurbished macbook for $399 last week, just can't remember where. I think Buy.com.
