Crue2001 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Okay, so we have the new handy laptop that I swore I'd never like...but man, I gotta tell ya, I can tote this to the bedroom and go online while the kids hog the desktop. Loving it! So, now I need to find a stand that I can use while sitting on the couch or bed so that it stays cool and doesn't burn my legs either. I was thinking of a stand that kind of looks like a breakfast tray thingy...sits over your legs? Does anyone know of anything like that? It doesn't need to have a fan or tilt or anything fancy, just ventilation I guess. TIA for any suggestions!

KBsDarling Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 doesnt anyone have a stand taht is large enough to use a mouse? I hate my touchpad mouse thingy for cake mania(yeah i know...addict much)
heatherbade Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 OK, so i am really cheap. I bought a large wood cutting board. Works just the same and much cheaper.
tawnya Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I have one from walmart that looks like a hospital bedside rolling table but tilts. It pulls up to the bed or couch and raises or lowers depending on what you want. I have a 17 in laptop and have room for a mouse/pad. One end of the table stays level so you can put a drink or papers. I love it, dh and I both have one and I think they only cost $35. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9135250 It looks alot like this one but we got a cheaper version in the store.
