Need a laptop stand...

Okay, so we have the new handy laptop that I swore I'd never like...but man, I gotta tell ya, I can tote this to the bedroom and go online while the kids hog the desktop. Loving it! So, now I need to find a stand that I can use while sitting on the couch or bed so that it stays cool and doesn't burn my legs either. I was thinking of a stand that kind of looks like a breakfast tray thingy...sits over your legs? Does anyone know of anything like that? It doesn't need to have a fan or tilt or anything fancy, just ventilation I guess.

The Belkin Cushtop Stand for Laptops are the best I found a silver one @ Marshalls its the best I love it! Walmart has it for the cheapest I could find....let me know how it goes

Does it have any ventilation under the laptop area? I'm worried about it getting to hot and since the heat comes from the bottom...

Mine never got hot....but they do sell a cooling pad in case u are worried...

doesnt anyone have a stand taht is large enough to use a mouse? I hate my touchpad mouse thingy for cake mania(yeah i know...addict much)

OK, so i am really cheap. I bought a large wood cutting board. Works just the same and much cheaper.

I have one from walmart that looks like a hospital bedside rolling table but tilts. It pulls up to the bed or couch and raises or lowers depending on what you want. I have a 17 in laptop and have room for a mouse/pad. One end of the table stays level so you can put a drink or papers. I love it, dh and I both have one and I think they only cost $35.

OK, so i am really cheap. I bought a large wood cutting board. Works just the same and much cheaper.

Great idea, I was watching something on TV today where they made a lap desk with a cutting board and a throw pillow/cushion.
