pumpkin456 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I have never used the kidvantage program at sears but I recently bought a pair of sandals for my kid and they are falling apart. How does the program work?? I don't think I have a receipt.
AngeP Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I am not sure about the receipt issue but you are entitled to swap the shoes out for the same shoe - same size. uhmmmm .... if it's on the kidvantage they should be able to pull it up, maybe!
jbrawn26 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 yeah they should be able to just pull it up on your account and they should swap out for the same shoe same size at the store
peifgirl Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 i think you just need your phone number you used when you signed up for it...
pumpkin456 Posted June 10, 2009 Author Posted June 10, 2009 Thank you so much. I just don't want to take these shoes in and embarass myself. They are actually pretty gross looking. I just want to get the transaction over quickly.
natasha Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 The one time that I used it for my DS11. It was a year time limit and they would only exchange for the same size. Maybe they aren't as strict now.
pumpkin456 Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Here is a real kicker. I went to sears and asked the cashier how the program works and she said she does not know. She said she only is told to ask about the kidvantage but, does not know anything about it. I had a receipt with me and she just returned it normally. I would have asked to see a supervisor but, I had to leave and did not have time for them to call someone. This is why I ask most of my questions here because frequently the employees don't know about their own programs... Very frustrating
