Kmart doubles 5/3 to 5/9

If your add says doubling up to .75 then it is suppose to say double up to $2.00. If your add say tripling up to .75 then that is what it means.

 

So lets start finding some good deals!! This is only my second time and it is so much fun!!:)

Clio, MI is doing it too. Yay!! I didn't know mine was doing it until Saturday night last time. I missed alot of good deals. Time to start hiding stuff! LOL

i received confirmation from corp that it is double up to $2 and that i should print the email in case i have any troubles.

Our store is participating to. It does say up to .75.

its not .75 unless it says triples all doubles are a misprint and should be $2

email corp and they will send you an email confirmation of your location and written proof that its up to $2- usually within a few hours at most

I emailed corporate about our Kmart and I didn't get any response at all. Kmart is over an hour drive and next Saturday is out of the question so tomorrow is my only opportunity to shop. Just not sure I want to chance it without the email confirmation.

Have you tried to call the store and ask this morning if it was a misprint? The cashier doesn't do anything to double the coupon, the registers automatically do it, so if it's a misprint the registers should be programmed anyways and double them up to $2.

I went to my local kmart yesterday with all my coupons ready and after shopping for an hour, a worker told me that they were not participating in the double coupon event. I mentioned that it was in the sunday add for our store and I double checked on line by adding my zip code and it stated that this particular store was participating. At Checkout I was told again so I asked to speak to a manager. she said that there store was not participating and that I could "try" to use my coupons and see what happens....... well the register took every one and trippled the right ones and doubled the others! I think the store was trying to pull a fast one. If the registers are programmed to take the coupons that tells me that they are participating and unless you just go ahead and try it, you would never know.. ultimately saving that particular store money!! I guess it would not hurt to try using one coupon and seeing if your store is participating even though they say they are not!!!

What happens if you have a $4.00 coupon? Is that not subject to doubling at all? I know they wouldn't make it $8.00, but I thought it would double up to $2.00, making it a total of a $6.00 savings.

no, I believe it would only be the 4.00 off only.

Our KM is doubling also but the ad read "with the purchase of $25 or more of grocery and drugstore mershandise" and then inside the ad it states "Limit 10 coupons per customer per day".

That's what my ad says, but I went up to the customer service desk and asked and she said "you're fine" so I asked again if I had to spend $25 on groceries or just spend $25 and she said that my coupons would double, so I'm not sure what that means... I did spend over $25 but some of it was dog & cat food and my coupons still doubled.

 

It's like they are trying a different angle every time they have the double coupons, they keep changing the terms/rules. I wonder what that's all about?

I bought one item this week for $10 with a $2 coupon, and it doubled automatically on the register. I was surprised it did after seeing their ad.
