RossMAN Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 This is a very good deal. We've been using SunRocket.com VOIP for a few months with no major problems or outages. Compared to the competition (Vonage), it's a great bargain.
RossMAN Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Service is not available here. They're a relatively new company and will probably expand markets gradually.
Aaron Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 They're a relatively new company and will probably expand markets gradually.Awesome! :)
RossMAN Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 "Sun Rocket"? Sounds fishy to me. I can assure you so far SunRocket.com isn't "fishy". If you don't believe me read this VOIP forum. to the forums.
EagleEye Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Hmm, this sounds like a great deal. But you have to buy new phones for VoIP service correct? Do you guys have any good deals on those
RossMAN Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Hmm, this sounds like a great deal. But you have to buy new phones for VoIP service correct?Nope they use regular corded or cordless phones which plug into the "gizmo". Here is our SunRocket.com setup:Cable internet ---> cable modem ---> SunRocket gizmo (which phone plugs into) ---> Wireless router
