speeddiva
My daughter found the perfect prom dress....the downside is that it's in the UK. Is there a way to find out how good the company is? Or is anyone familiar with: www.formaldress4u.co.uk The total with shipping is $218, so they're not outrageous, but it's still alot of money to gamble on an unknown website IMO.... Here's the dress if anyone was wondering LOL:http://www.formaldress4u.co.uk/acatalog/Prom_Dress_style_17.html
Marcster
Just a little digging and here you go:http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews131135.html Go here for more reviews:http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=formaldress4u.co.uk+review
dgagnon
After reading those reviews I'm not sure I would want to buy from them. Having a daughter going to prom this year, she would be out of her mind if something wasn't exactly like she had picked out.
chrisjuvers
I read the reviews as well and I wouldn't risk it.
speeddiva
Thank you Marcster! I think she's just gonna have to give up on that one! Not gonna risk it.
Marcster
Thank you Marcster! I think she's just gonna have to give up on that one! Not gonna risk it.Yeah, I wouldn't either... You have no recourse if the dress isn't right, other than disputing the credit card charges. Dealing with a local place, even a web site in the USA, is a better option, IMHO. dgagnon
That is an awesome idea Thanks Marcster for posting that link.... I am going to do some looking around and see if there is anything around us doing this and donate all these dresses that we have just hanging around. speeddiva
That is a really cool idea. I know there is a charity around here that gives donated gowns away to girls who need them, but I've never heard of the idea of loaning.
