elite2058 Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 Did you enter the coupon code CAM313100 to take $100 Off making it $299
neile457 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I entered the code, but the price didn't drop. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Panic! Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 The code worked for me. I entered it into the "Promo Code" field and it took me to the log in page. After I logged in, it applied the $100 off discount. I'm still a bit hesitant on purchasing it. Gonna do some research on it first.

Panic! Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I've been looking for a decent HD camcorder for awhile now. Specs-wise, this camera seems good. The only con for me is that it records to mini Blu-ray disks. The disks are ~$13 on Newegg. It can record to mini DVDs, but it'll record in standard definition, not HD. I'd rather save up and spend a little bit more money on an HD camcorder with a HDD. They have a version of this with a 30GB HDD that I've seen a couple of times on Woot-offs, but that one is still pricey.
dealchampion Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 The camera has very limited reviews on Amazon. I would like to see the Consumer Reports before I buy.
