pctech Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Hi Guys, Does any one happen to know when Dell might run the following promotion again? I have seen some similar ones on the Dell Home site, but nothing anywhere as good as this deal on an Inspiron 9300. This was, by far, the best deal I have seen to date for an Inspiron 9300. Unfortunately, I was at work and didn't learn about the deal until it had expired. Thanks, James ========================================================== Dell Small Business $750 off $1499 Laptops, Jun 6 Just in time for Father's day or Graduation.. hint! Mike Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Im sure they will run it again, but its hard to tell when. If I assume correctly...Brad & Ross usually only find out a couple days in advance. I tell you one thing though, when they know...you'll know if you check out the site.
RossMAN Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 James, I agree that Dell Small Business deals are usually better than their Home Office counterpart. This is especially true if you live in a state where you're charged sales tax for both divisions. Dell Small Business usually has the best deals at the end of quarter to move inventory and increase sales figures. Usually you can expect a sale price, coupon and/or rebate with free shipping. For example, last quarter they had a loaded Dimension 8400 w/ P4 630 3.0GHz, 512MB DDR2, 80GB, CD-RW, ATI X300SE for $499 after $100 rebate. That was scorching hot! It's a good idea to sign up for their mailing list and you'll receive special offers, coupon codes, etc. Also check this forum at least twice a day. Sometimes these deals come and go within a matter of hours.
pctech Posted June 16, 2005 Author Posted June 16, 2005 Hi RossMAN and group, Thanks very much for the suggestions! I am a long time Dell customer and have been ordering from the small business and home divisions for many many years now. (Almost always with a special promo coupon-- the only way to buy!) I currently use a Dell Dimension 8200 for my desktop pc and have a Dell Axim X30 handheld which I am very pleased with. I'm in the market for a new laptop and want to order an Inspiron 9300 if I can find that same deal listed in my original message. I've been watching off and on for several months now, but have never seen one that even comes close to that particular one! A 17" notebook with 512MB ram and a DVD-Burner for $750? Amazing! Unfortunately, I was at work that day and didn't see the deal until it had already expired. Does GottaDeal.com offer any type of mailing list for HOT breaking deals? There are times when I can check my email at work or on my Axim but can't acually get to the site for regular updates. Thanks!James

Aside from our GottaDeal Daily Deal Update, nothing else but that is something we're considering for the future. Also for you PDA and smartphone users we do have a mobile version of GottaDeal.com availablehttp://mobile.gottadeal.com/
