Cynziao Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I know I waited until the last minute, but I changed my mind on what I was going to get them. I thought about Bakugans, but I think they might be too young for them. Any suggestions?
patandjenny Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 a bionic eye microscope? Not sure I have girls and my son is still a baby
daysangel Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I got my 4 y/o nephew the Tag system with case and a dinosaur book... Not sure if there are any good deals out there for that now though...
bluesky225 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 My son is 6, and he loves star wars, transformers, batman, nerf dart guns, power rangers, legos, and so much more. He is not into bakugans as I do think he might be a little young, and he hasn't asked for them. Good luck finding something!! They shouldn't be too hard to please at that age....
Cnstrz Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 the Bakuggans is a bit older... Try anything Star Wars or The Eye would be cool for the whole family. My DS is 7, @ 4 it was all firetrucks and hotwheels, @ 6 and now it was Star Wars, Legos and Spy Stuff.
amyers12345 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Anything Ben 10 or Cars would probably be good. Transformers, video games, movies, McD's gift cards, sporting equipment, legos, books, etc. Boys are much easier than girls, IMO. Most of DD's gifts are barbies, my little ponies, and Breyer horses.
juanadeal Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 My boys are 4 & 5 and I got them: 4 yr old- Leapster, Spiderman transformer, Spiderman Operation game, Scooby Doo Smart Cycle game, clothes (they love new clothes) 5 yr old - Star Wars Clone Blaster plug in game, Lincoln Logs, Leap pad cartridge, books (he's learning how to read, bionicles, transformers, clothes. Hope that helps!
arelf27 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I got my 4 y/o nephew the Tag system with case and a dinosaur book... Not sure if there are any good deals out there for that now though...I second the Tag system. I got it with "Cars" book for 4 y.old (friends of family) B-Day. Amazon has a pretty good deal ($20 off $60) so you can get Tag system and one book for $40. (though I got mine as Lightning deal on Amazon for $20) (if you have Prime I think today is the last day to order) Also hot wheels, "cars", Thomas trains, any of those race track systems by Hotweels or Matchbox or others. Leggos or poss. K'nex are good too. I'm getting my dd3 bike for her 4th B-day (16"). Also there are neat games like Gator golf and Silly Six Pins Bowling Game, depending on whether they have these or not. Also basketball hoop. Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go Crash-Ups Speedway, MATCHBOX Pop Up 360° Haunted House Adventure Set
Cynziao Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 Thanks everyone! I decided to get the tag reading basics for boys gift pack with a couple of other books through Leap Frog. Great prices and they through in an additional book if you purchase the gift pack! Just trying to get a code to work now for Leap Frog!
Cynziao Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 I meant to say they "throw" in an additional book (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) when you purchase the gift pack. Thanks again for great advice!
arelf27 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I meant to say they "throw" in an additional book (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) when you purchase the gift pack. Thanks again for great advice! They have a couple of good codes out there to use if your order is over $50. Before Amazon Lightning deals I looked at LeapFrog website and I think I was figuring I could get a tag system with one book and a case and one or two additional (misc. books) for a little over $50.
Cynziao Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 I found the code for 15% off of $50.00. So.........my total order for the tag gift set, which includes the pen and three books at $57.00, an additional two books at 9.99 each, and one free book, plus shipping and tax was $79.91!
