chortnhunkrd Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 a week ago i and my wife ordred a present for my brother from a reputable mail order hobby shop which i have shoped with for some time now. acouple of days later i checked the companies web site for the tracking number to see the progress of the package this was this friday. to my suprise ups web site said the pagage was delivered already. Immediately i went out side to the front door to see and there was nothing there there was not even foot steps. in the fresh snow we recieved on the nite it was said to have arrived . naturally i called both ups and the mail order company and didnt get really anywhere, except a inquest that was opened. Deal Grabber Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Ive had this happen a few times before.Either fight it with your CC company or call the hobby shop.If they cant show proof of delivery demand your money back.Im sure the company will come through.They have to have a tracking number which can be traced back to the person that delivered it.Call UPS. Also check any bushes, if you have a garage door that may have been opened check there and around anything even in your vehicle. One of my packages ended up at a house on my street with the same house numbers, but in a different order(I'm 225, it was sitting at 252). I guess the UPS guy had dyslexia that day. When I called ups about it they called the driver and had him describe the house he dropped my package at, I recognized the description thankfully and got my package fast. eve Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 i ordered from kbtoys once and checked it online all day. Said it was delivered a minute before i let my mom in the house. After hassling with UPS the driver comes out and tells me she put it there, i said that was not possible. she insisted she did and someone must have taken it, to just call kbtoys and they will send another ASAP. they did so it was OK. but i know that ups driver kept my toy. i suggest calling the company Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lakj98 Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 About a month ago I placed an order with Wilton. I was tracking my package and it said delviered. I called UPS. The lady was able to look back and see exactly where it was delivered. For some reason it was delivered to someone (not even in the same city as us) but somehow she was able to tell where it was delivered.
