My husband is technically an associate for Booksamillion, so I have a 20% discount in store-plus, they pay all my bills, so I really should shop there more often :-) With Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix they had a really cute party with games and dressing up and stuff like that for the kids, too.

I ended up with 3 copies of Phoenix because I had preordered 1 and just couldn't wait for it to actually show up so I bought one at Books and then on the way home my daughter kept taking my book and was reading it before me--that was completely unacceptable, so I stopped at WalMart and bought another one !! LOL I really like Harry Potter!!

I can tell. How is your husband "technically an associate" with Booksamillion?

He's a programmer with the company that does their website and he does all the coding for the B&M computers and all the implementation for the gift cards. It's a sub-division of Booksamillion, but he gets all the neat perks without the manual labor. They do other companies sites too, like TNT fireworks and I don't even know what else. Honestly, I go into zombie mode when he starts talking about programming stuff.

Booksamillion is on the paycheck and the insurance cards and 401K :-)

I need to read Harry Potter one of these days. I've heard good things.
