Gift card / checks deals?

I need to buy a few gift checks this year. Any good deals out there? CVS has American Express gift checks purchase to receive a $10 EB. Don't shop at CVS. Any other deals?

IHOP has buy $25 get $5.00 and I think Texas Roadhouse does the same thing

Thank you but looking for generic gift checks. Receipent can use them anywhere. Like a credit card.

I was wondering the same thing about all sorts of places so if anybody knows of any others we should list them..tumbleweed is also doing buy 25 get 5

Check your local grocery store. Ours is offering double gas rewards points or extra bonus points if you buy gift cards in the store--your choice of any they carry (Vons and Ralphs in Southern California).

don't think I've ever seen a deal on these. closest is when they don't charge you a fee
