Guest bubblybubbas4 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I looked this up and didn't see anything thing on this topic. I've been hearing rumors in our area that Kmart is buying Sears. If this is so, how does this affect their BF Ads? Will the two stores have the same items on special, and at the same price? Or will it be competitive?
Brad Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 you are 4 years late, lol: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6509683/
Guest bubblybubbas4 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Oh, that's terrible!! How did I miss that? See what happens after you have 4 little one's, your brain cells slowly melt away! Thanks!
MeliesMom Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah Kmart and Sears are one in the same. But if you look at their BF ads, some of the stuff is the same. Not everything, but some things are the same.
gbeenie Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 And good Kmarts now have a Kenmore appliance section (and layaway; hint, hint).
TheLegend Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 And good Kmarts now have a Kenmore appliance section (and layaway; hint, hint). Sears added layaway this past week. But I don't think large appliances and home electronics are allowed.
peppysfireball Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Kmart has always had layaway, also our Sears is next door to Kmart and Kmart has a lot of their Craftsman tools cheaper .The Sears salesman told me if he had his way things would be different but he told me he would pricematch any Kmart item i needed Black friday since I hate Kmart.
rockpzazz Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Since we are on the topic of layaway, does KMart have a timeframe for layaway. If I bought a Thanksgiving or BF item would I have to pay it off by a certain time, or could I pay a little at a time. I saw Sears has this offer, but they have so many restrictions and I think you have to pay it off by Dec. 21 if I read right.
