Guitar Hero III VS Guitar Hero World Tour

I'm going to get my son a Guitar Hero game for xmas. I don't know which one of these to get. I will not buy the full world tour with the drums, just the guitar package. My son is 11, so any help would be great. I need this for a Wii.

Then I would go for the Guitar Hero World tour you can down load more songs for it you can always buy the guitar hero discs at a later time...

I would go with the World Tour. Not only for the downloading capabilities but some of the songs are more modern than Guitar Hero III.

If you're not interrested in the drums, then go for GH III and save yourself a few bucks on BF, since 2-3 of the stores have the bundles on sale. You could always download the songs for GHWT later.
