Sorry, but this is silly.Because there will always be shoppers who don't know the difference between all the different processors on the market and will buy the laptop based on price alone. The ones with the cheaper processors probably have a higher gross margin than the ones with Core2Duos, especially if they're selling for similar prices. In comparison, you'd be better off looking for a Pentium M (which is at least 6 year ol technology) laptop which would sell for less money, if you could even find it. I like the fact that they open 2 hours later. I want the $39.99 digital picture frame with remote (the first I have seen so far for this price) and the keyboard combo seems like a good deal if it is wireless. NO FREEBATES at all!!!And I right away ruled out the laptop just because Best Buy's was cheaper with a bigger hard drive. I didn't know about the processor stuff - it's a little bit Greek to me. But if I'm not mistaken the Best Buy laptop had the Core 2 Duo so even better! Hopefully Office Depot will offer some free stuff - BF is a sport for me and I'm all about the FREE. That make no sense at all!! Oh well....I ended up getting my router & phone in-store. hardly any line at all, and everything was on a table as soon as you walked in.
