momofh1l7s2a3
Just curious if anyone knows if the major retailers (Walmart, TRU, Target, etc.) still price match the other competitors with the weekly sales ads? Last christmas I heard they weren't but wasn't sure if this was a year-round thing or just after "Black Friday" that they no longer did. Any input or recent experiences would be appreciated. nikkilugi
Wal-Mart will match anytime as long as the ad has a price. They won't match b1g1 offers or percentages off. That is how stores are starting to get around Wal-Mart price matching because I noticed around here a lot of store are going to percentage off sales. I know Best Buy will price match most anything. You should call your store to check beforehand though. Target absolutely does not price match and I think TRU stopped price matching a couple of years ago. Go in Wednesday and go to CS and say "I know you are having a lot of sales coming up. If by chance an item I buy today goes on sale tomorrow or Friday will you do a price adjustment?" :)

I have had that happen regarding other things (not a T-giving sale and not Kmart, but I am just saying..)
maggie329
I would ask to speak to Manager. get person's name and see what they tell you. I want to do what you want also. I know Walmart will match but if you look at the photo ad it does not show any listing of model or serial #. You would have to have a gem say okay and give you the item. lots of good luck to everyone. maggie

I mostly price match movies, toys, games, etc which wouldn't have model numbers. I did price match an mp3 last year - again with no problems except that they wouldn't check me out until when the Best Buy sale would start. plmarquis
Last year I bought all of my BF stuff from Target the week prior, walked in on BF and got a price adjustment. Some stuff you can't get, like the great deals on the movies and stuff, but alot of other things, such as the TV's and stuff, you can get..... BARBinU.P.
I bought all my stuff on Tuesday before Black Friday went in on Friday nite (remember Targets is a 2 day sale) and got my price adjustment. They don't have all the stuff out but what I was looking for the did.

I have had that happen regarding other things (not a T-giving sale and not Kmart, but I am just saying..)Target tried to pull this crap on me last year...I live in PA, and the Target here told me they would do an adjustment...I spent BF in upstate NY, and when I went to get my adjustment, the girl (who was probably no more than 17) was snotty about it and said that they were told NO price adjustments on BF...so I told her that I had talked to corporate, who said they would honor price adjustments (which I hadn't, but others here had, and if I didn't get my adjustment, you'd better believe they'd be hearing from me, for sure!), and she begrudgingly did it after telling her manager that I talked to corporate, but the manager did make it sound as though they wouldn't be doing it again...so I had to tell the girl what I needed adjustments on, and you'd have thought the $$ was coming directly from her pocket, because she was SUCH a snot about it...I thanked her, and I got no acknowledgment whatsoever...and then I see a day or two later that she didn't adjust one of my items, so I ended up calling corporate anyway, and I told them the entire story, and gave them the cashier's ID number, and she gave me a code to give Target guest services that would allow me to prove to them that I was told I could get the adjustment, even though it was after the 2-day sale was over... Luckily I will be shopping here in PA this year, and so if I am told that Target here will do adjustments, and if I get a name of who said that, I would guess that I won't have an issue...I may just check with corporate myself anyway, just to make sure I have that backed up... jamesy1
will kmart price match for a tv that Wal-Mart has and regular price is lower than K-Marts? I want to put a tv on layaway and their price is higher than Wal-Marts but Wal-mart doesn't have layaway. Also I have checked K-marts layaway policy and it doesn't say anything about not allowing tv's on layaway. If I print out tv and description from website with their price and bring to K-mart will they match it?
