Just a lil' FYI. Every now and then, enough to make it noticeable, when I try to access the GD main forums I get wierd vBulletin code errors. Is the site getting bombarded already? It's not even BF yet! Or maybe it's just me and my PHP-sensitive eves. :eyepoppin

Here's the latest error:

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 4088

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 4088

That error has been happening since we moved to the cluster months ago. Same thing happened last year. There is a conflict between the forum software and the way the server cluster is set up (things get out of sync across the servers) and despite hours of trying to figure it out, nothing has worked.

No need for anyone to PM or contact me. All of the mods know how to fix it so when it happens, just give us usually a minute or two and things will be back to normal.

The fact is, the forum sofware has been patched and updated and had add-ons installed countless times since 2004 and over the years, something has not meshed with the setup of the server cluster.

Just an update: this pesky error is still around this year, so if you see it, no need to contact us - we know about it and will fix it ASAP.

This should be the last year with this problem as next year we'll be using vBulletin 4, the latest and greatest forum software version which hopefully gets rid of the problem.

Again, the error will look like this:

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 4088

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 4088

and it will appear at the top of the forum pages.
