lori12563 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Has anybody seen the Wii Fit advertised anywhere? Thanks
MeliesMom Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I was at walmart saturday night and they had about 5 of them. They have it in the target ad this week too.
Rose0426 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Hi, I work at TRU in Newark, DE and we have plenty of them (plus no sales tax). Plus if you got any coupons with the big book you can use them also. I would suggest calling ahead just to make sure.
migirlfriday Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 We got one at TRU in Saginaw, MI on Saturday. It was the base unit for 89.99.
Suzy Crampton Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Got one at Sam's Club a couple of weeks ago for $72.??.
ginabarrett Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I got one at WalMart the other day, also $89.99 I taped the receipt to it so if I find a better deal before Xmas I can return this one, but if not, no stress trying to find one in Xmas rush! Our TRU tends to have them in stock too and I thought of going with the $10 off in the mailer but it is about a 20 min drive each way from here and it wasn't worth it to me.
swok34 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I've noticed my local Best Buy having them the last few times I've been in. I'm in Oklahoma and Sunday morning seems to be the best time @ Target, Circuit City and Toys R Us. Best Buy and Game Stop seem to be on a mid week kind of schedule?, they seem more apt to have them in the middle of the week. The sales clerk @ Target told me that if they advertise in Sunday's paper, they usually have them, but they go fast. Especially the Wii Fits, the Wii's themselves last a little longer.
debbieshops2003 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I went to 2 Targets today and both had them. Toys R Us had a BUNCH of them. $89.99. I bought one at Target and used my 10% off from my credit card. But that is the best deal I've seen.
katcoulby Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I found one on neweggs website. It was a bundle that came with the Wii Ski game (which I was going to buy anyhow). I believe it was $140 give or take and that included shipping
shopping4my3son Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I just picked one up at Walmart. They had 2 in stock. I have been going back and forth on getting one for a while now and finally did.
dnvillane Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 When you are at Target, make sure you ask. I was at Target the other day, looking at the Buy 2, Get 1 Free Wii games and an associate asked if I needed anything. I asked, "You don't have any Wii fit in, do you?" and she went in the back and pulled out a box they had not unloaded yet. Sometimes they have them in and haven't restocked the case.
ginabarrett Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Both Targets I went to today had Wii fits in stock and one was loading about 10 Wiis into the sales cabinet. They say As Advertised, which means they were in the ad but not a lower price.
lori12563 Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 I went to walmart and they had one, Thanks all
ediesbeads Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I ordered one from TRU online the other day.
lincolndog Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 What accessories do you need with the Wii fit?
allshoppedout Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I have a question regarding the Wii Fit, anyone know if there are weight restrictions on this board. I have some larger family members and not sure I should invest in this-don't want it broken.
cokemeyer Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 What accessories do you need with the Wii fit?not a thing, really. I've been using mine for 100 days, almost daily and the board has held up just fine without any of those silicone covers they sell for it. It also cleans easily if need be. If you are doing it on a hard floor, rather than a carpet, you'll need a towel or mat of some sort for the laying down yoga and strength training exercises, but you can pick those up anywhere...no need to get an expensive Wii one. They also sell bags for the board and my bundle came with one, but I returned it. I use Wii Fit so often that I just simply slide the board up next to the TV when I am done using it. If you had to travel with the board, you can just put it back into its original box which has a nice carry handle on it... hth!

Trishy Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 We got a mag in the mail yesterday from WalMart and it had it in there but I can't remember the sale price. I do know the Wii was 229.00 though.
allshoppedout Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 It has a 300 lb weight limit. hth! very much for the info. Now I can add it to the list : *I keep seeing hth on various posts, what does it stand for?
Scanner420 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I think hth is "have to have!" You usually see it with a good deal. I'm getting this. My DW has been talking about it since it came out.

Scanner420 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I think someone did post a thread like that last year. If you hit search and type in "abbreviations", you may find it.
allshoppedout Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Thanks yellowjeepster and Scanner420 again. I found it!! Posted I believe, in August. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=116197 if anyone else is interested. I am going go read, so I know what I'm talking about...
cokemeyer Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 sorry guys! As of last year I was a newbie to these threads and didn't know the abbreviations either. HTH means "hope that helps." hth!
