I have seen the Canon ZR100 for $261.75 from Dell after 25% off Canon camcorders coupon (which unfortunately expired 4/21/2005).

In this price range (under $299) it's a very solid choice, of course there are better models but they cost $399 - $549.

 

I would highly recommend reading these reviews, the price is definitely VERY HOT!

Thanks Again. I just looked at the specs and i am not sure it would support any memory cards?? so i think i will go for zr 200 as it will support SD memory cards.
