jerseygirl Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 duplicate post http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=119370Not really. Your post lists the overall sale, not what is on sale. Many Moms here (including myself) are looking specifically for Legos for Christmas.
Stowasser Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 LOL I was thinking the same thing. I guess they put the ones that no one wants on sale to try and get rid of them Yes, they excluded the best sets....LOL
3cuties4me Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Shipping kind of kills it... and I'm 2 hours from the closest TRU. UGH!
NurseAngela Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Woohoo! Thanks and my son will be thrilled this xmas! I would have missed this sale otherwise. Glad no one else wants them; more for me!!
frmgrl Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 My son just got into Legos, is this one of the better deals? Are Legos on sale very often? Or should I jump at this? Thanks for your help.
Stowasser Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 My son just got into Legos, is this one of the better deals? Are Legos on sale very often? Or should I jump at this? Thanks for your help. There usually is not very many sales on Legos, I am sure Black Friday will have some sort of Lego set on sale but its usually the bigger expensive sets.
newmania Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I do a lot of purchasing of LEGO product every year, around 20,000$ worth, and I no longer shop at ToysRus due to their unbelievably cheap sales. They exclude all of the popular sets, which are already marked up significantly over retail, so they would still make a profit even with the B2G1. Why anyone would buy from these con artists when they can buy direct from LEGO or Walmart is beyond me. Their shipping usually isn't even that reasonable. Hey Stowasser, seeing as I deal in the biz so to speak, there won't be any really good deals on LEGO product during black friday. I know what is backstocked and what is overrun, so I can pretty much peg it dead on.

Couple yrs ago it was the Millenium Falcon which I wished I had gotten for my son but he wasn't into Legos/Star wars then
