target clearance return

I bought a Disney MP3 player for my son 2 weeks ago on clearance. I paid 39XX for it. He picked out a different one that he liked better and we got him that one. I need to return the unopened one I bought him and I have the receipt. Will they refund my money if it has been reduced in price again? I am not sure if my Target has reduced it, I read on the message board that some have.

I shouldn't think you would have a problem if it is unopened and you have your receipt and you only bought it 2 weeks ago

I bought some clearance from Target items today and asked if I could return them if my son didn't want them and they told me to just keep my receipt and it wouldn't be a problem. I think people maybe run into issues when it's holiday clearance.

FYI. I've returned things to target, on clearance, w/o a receipt but I paid w/ a credit card. And they were able to swipe the card and recall the reciept showing the price i paid.

As long as you have your receipt & it has not been more then 90 days.You should be entitled to a full refund.If you do not have your receipt then you will only get the clearance price.
