Crue2001
I just saw a commercial for a pet nail trimming system that is called Pedi Paws. I was wondering if anyone has used it before and how did your pet react (noise/feeling, etc).

Karmarose
My sister used it for the first time on her boxer......he tried to bite her. she went back to old fashioned way.lol I have a boxer that I have to put a towel over her head when I do her nails. I would like to try out the pedi paws on her though. I think it's the noise that would make them anxious around it.
kmbrly
I was going to get one for my dogs, but I didn't read very good reviews on it. The reviews that I read mostly said it was poorly constructed or cheaply made. Most said you would get the same results using a regular dremel. buttsister123
My husband saw the commercial on this product and thought it was very similar to a drimmel tool. Since he already had the drimmel tool, he used that on our 100 lb lab. Worked great! Our lab is very mellow and will sit still for whatever you do to him (bath, clip toenails, brushing, etc) Can't say he likes it but will behave for my husband. Stowasser
my mom bought this....I am not impressed at all with it. First it took like 2 months before it shipped and she actually cancelled it and it shows up the next day?? I used it on our small dog and I couldn't get it to do much, now our dog has long nails (yes i know that is bad) but it wasn't really grinding it down much. I also found the holes kinda of funny, maybe ours was done wrong but the smaller the hole, the less of the grinding wheel we got so the nail falls off to the side? I worked on him for over an hour and finally gave up and clipped him with clippers. I think if your dog has really short nails already, it might work abit better but buying a dremel will give you the same results.
