spwalkhen
Does LT have a clearance event like they do in Feb/March? I remember getting some HUGE savings, and dd9 is driving me crazy for new LT clothes! We did get some too bucks to save in the next couple of weeks tho. was hoping to really stack up with too bucks and a big clearance! Also, on ebay they have too bucks that are for different times than mine, are they legit?
racerfan
We were just at LT last week and DD9 almost 10 got some really neat summer shirts plus a backpack for school. We paid just under $55 and received 2 $25 too bucks and 2 $15 too bucks. Plus she has a birthda this month and the card they sent is for 25% of and is good thru 8/31 and the $25 too bucks start on 8/30. I asked if we would be able to use both and the girl said because it was a birthday 25% off yes. I made sure I got it in writing.
fairydustcrissy
They do those clearance events several times a year, pretty much when seasons change I think. I got a 25% bday card as well, and am going to use it when the clearnace kicks in. I'd say we will start seeing it very soon, with fall stuff coming in, and back-to school shopping winding down. I'm hoping at least!

We bought a backpack, lunchbox, 5 tops, 2 dresses, shoes and Webkinz clothes for $55. We had 2 limited too bucks. All the shirts and dresses were $4.99. They also gave me a coupon for 30% this Sunday only!
mom2monkiesx3
Just a heads up that Limited too plans to close most stores and reopen them as there sister store Justice..SO WATCH FOR LOTS OF SALES!! I am kinda sad, while we shop and Justice and like some of their things they seem more casual and sporty and DD likes the more trendy and dressy stuff... They will supposidly carry a few "limited too" brand things in the new Justice stores...I curious to see the change.
mom2monkiesx3
Store: Limited Too Why? Citing weak sales, Tween Brands Inc. plans to close 26 of its Limited Too preteen stores and convert 560 to its lower-priced Justice brand. The move was announced Tuesday afternoon. It will nearly triple the size of the Justice chain when the conversion is completed in the first quarter. Once the transaction is completed, the New Albany-based teen clothing chain will no longer operate any Limited Too stores in the U.S. Some of the brand's clothing will continue to be sold in Justice stores. I'm going to have to see if any around here are closing. I LOVE LTD2 brand stuff. I always get it dirt cheap, and it lasts forever. I have not been to Justice, is the quality the same? LTD2 are the only jeans that actually fit my long & lanky DD9 well. *Sigh* Also, does Justice do any sort of bucks or major clearance sales? spwalkhen
I told DD9 and she was not a happy camper! She did browse the justice site, and thought some of the clothes were "OK" I too like the discounts, and I haven't had a quality problem with any of the 8 bags of clothes we brought home in Feb. Will definately be watching for the clearance tho. She wants to spend her own money to stock up for the next year.
mom2monkiesx3
Justice is OK, the quality is about the same. They are just more sporty (tshirt and jeans/drawstring pants kinda place) They do offer deals just like LT, the mailed coupon is 20% intead of 25%....but the prices to begin with are a little less.... If you cannot tell my LT store kinda loves me and she blurted this all out to me last month when we were school shopping LOL I didn't think to share it sooner...
