boopy63 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Here is a quick one to try. www.your2cents.com They ask how you would like to be contacted and cell phone / text message / im are choices. Since I selected only contact via e-mail, I hardly ever get surveys from them. Maybe they are moving away from e-mail? Just my 2 cents . . .
justweplus3 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Thanks boopy63 I am already signed up to that site but don't remember having that option. I signed up before I had any of this on my cell though, so I probably didn't pay much attention to those details so I'll give it a try now! I don't get very many surveys from them either, although I did do a product test for them not too long ago and was able to cash out, but have not recieved any surveys at all since then! Thanks!
laura264 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Hi everyone...this is my first time posting on here and I thought I'd jump right in and give my two cents on surveys. I've been doing them for a couple of years and the extra money is great. But it's a dedication. As you know, some of the surveys are SO boring and you answer the same question a 100 different ways. Lately I've noticed a trend that's not very fair. If you're in the middle of a survey all of the sudden your transferred to another survey site to answer more questions, then you go back to the original survey. That's a rip off. Especially if you're a member of both survey panels. You only get credit for one! And that's my two cents.

Thanks for you input, I too have noticed that as well...dang it is frustrating then they are getting 2 surveys for the points of one...ugh! Sadly I still do them...
eds4ko Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I did a survery for Surveyhead and I finished it even to the last part where it ask you again for demographics. I've been doing surveys for a year now so I know what is DQ and not and it went back to their website as usual and told me that I did not qualified for the survey.
Gloey Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I just took one of their surveys I got through Global Test Marketing, spent 10 minutes into it watching some video and then was disqualified! I hate these people.
Abracadabra Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 thats ok, they lock up on me way before that...Their use of internet explorer is why, I propose. It's as if they don't people to actually finish?
babyteddy Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 thats ok, they lock up on me way before that...Mine is usually like ... age ... gender ... country ... sorry.
Abracadabra Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Mine is usually like ... age ... gender ... country ... sorry. One time I suspected that they profile by ethnicity, I selected Hispanic and sure enough it disqualifies me immediately. The survey I took earlier selecting Caucasian and it allowed me to continue. Maybe it was age? But it's hard not to be skeptical If market research is the purpose, than why do they disqualify people based on certain demographics? It doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else have a clue? It would seem to me to exclude a demographic would only be a disservice to the business, and they wouldn't be able to cut into that market.
kikagops Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Demographics is the only way they can tell which type of user likes what products. Important info for manufacturers to target customers.
JohnnyLaRue Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 with pop culture. Just took a survey and of the 25 people whose photos they showed I knew .... *drum roll* .... just one!! Sad thing was the only one I knew was Obama. For all the rest of the photos I put down I don't know who they are.
