Let me know how it works out for you? I'd love to know. They should honor it no matter what! If not I'd talk to corporate.

Thanks! I'm supposed to pick mine up after lunch, so I'll edit this to let y'all know how it goes!

EDITED TO ADD: Mine turned out just fine! Thanks again for the great deal :)

hmmm well ordered one and my store called to say they are out of paper

I think they're full of it; they just hate to give away free prints! Also, be ready to battle the copyright Nazis at Walgreens if you upload a professional picture. The Walgreens around me won't release the print to you unless you bring them a copyright release from the original photographer or studio.

No where will let you if they catch it.

If they are out of the paper you can still get the free picture when it comes in.

I've reprinted many a professional photo at CVS and Walmart (even with an obvious studio logo on the photo) and haven't had any issues. The photolab workers at my neighborhood Walgreens seem to relish telling customers NO and being sticklers for the copyright policy. One told me that the photo doesn't even have to have a photographers signature or logo on it; if they think it "looks" professional they can refuse to release it to you. So even an amateur photographer that takes great pictures can have his or her print denied because it "looks too good to have been taken by an average person " (their words, not mine).

The two Walgreens I have locally (NC) said it was "unavailable" this morning so I ended up doing a pic for my Mom and using the "friend pickup" option which allowed me to have it sent to her Walgreens (NJ) Even though she had the email saying it was ready, they had no idea what she was talking about. Unfortunately, she didn't print out the email to take with her so she headed back home to get it and I haven't heard back yet. I told her that I used my credit card to pay for it, so they better not try to charge her!
