Tomagatchi's ~ are they no longer in production??

Both my kids are into these buggers ~ they're cute, eat batteries but are portable. My DD8 wants to get 1 for her BF so they can I/R the 2 units but I'm having a hard time finding them!!! WalMart has the shelves cleared w/all but the necklaces. Online both target & walmart do not show these.

 

I *knew* there was going to be trouble when amazon had them for $5 just before Christmas....

 

Anyone know if they are making these any longer???

I just saw a commercial a day or 2 ago. They are coming out with V5's, so that's probably why the shelves are empty.

Most of them average $14.99 on Amazon right now. But I found this one for $7.49

Thanks! I must have missed these by about a day or so. When I looked (and posted my ?) the v5's were not listed yet.

I just saw these at Walgreens in the toy section

I saw them at a KB Toy Outlet.

I saw them today at Bennys...on clearance. They are out there but looks like they may be

on their way out.
