I just received an email from CVS for 15 free prints with any purchase.

"Make a purchase of any value, enter promo code:15FREE, and get 15 free prints credited to your account. Offer valid through February 23. Must have an account set up to receive free prints."

I already had free prints on my account, so I ordered 7 4x6's and put the code in to see what would happen and it worked, 15 free prints have been added to my account.

So $0.00 oop and 15 free prints richer!!!

i don't mean to thread-crap, BUT I will never again use CVS to print photos - even if they are free. My last experience was horrible. It took a week to get me my 1-hour photos and the quality was horrible. I'm just glad everything was digital so I had them reprinted at Walmart. I took them to a scrapbooking group I go to and showed people the difference in the print color & quality and everyone was astonished by how horrible CVS's photos were.

Wow kselzer that really stinks. I have only used them once before and that was last week. I had 60 free print credits. Through out the summer I had been taking pictures of my moms garden, for Valentines day I printed them all out and put them in a nice photo album. They all turned out great, so either they have changed or I just got lucky. I am going to pick my new pics up today and I will report back.

I know I shouldn't complain because they were free - However I just went and picked my pics up. I ordered 7 and only 1 was good. They were cropped unbelievably bad!!!! Heads cut off, and people actually cropped out of the pic. I was going to complain, except the cashier had no idea how to do anything. She kept asking me how to ring it up.

Every store must have different machines, or some have upgraded their machines & others have not. I had pictures done there and they turned out great! The stores here were Osco Drugstores before they were CVS, wonder if that has anything to do with it & the machine that I put my disc in was a Kodak machine.

I must agree that the CVS photos are of a terrible quality. I got 30 for free a while back and they turned out awful. They were printed from the kodak kiosk that the customers use and they looked awful. I think it has something to do with the computer system because I have printed photos using the same kiosk (off a memory card) and they turned out fine. They came out fuzzy and some actually had spots on them. I used walgreens for my photos a while back and they were EXCELLENT! I scanned in a very very old polaroid pic and blew it up to an 8x10 and it seriously looked like an original. If you are willing to pay just a little for your photos, I'd recommend Walgreens!

well i still havent received their email with the link to activate the free 20 prints for signing up for their photo center. :(

I have seen people having lot of problems at my CVS with photos. The machine wont work, the printer wont print etc etc.

But I will give it a try since its free. Would I try if I had to pay for it, I dont think so :D
