katiesmommy01 Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 My daughter has pretty much outgrown even the umbrella stroller, but is not a big walker. I'm starting to look for a wagon to tote her (and the stuff we find at garage sales) around in. She's 44lbs. I'm looking for something sturdy, comfy, easy to pull/direct and affordable (please read "cheap"). No rush on this, I can wait for a sale...just trying to get people's opinions on the best wagons to look for, TIA!
my2aboys Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) This wagon isn't "cheap" but it is a great wagon. I have this for my 3 kids. I actually fit 4 kids in it and it isn't hard to pull (the wagon itself is heavy to lift off the ground but not to pull). I really like that the side comes off. I put a blanket in it and my 5 year old can dangle his legs out and lean back on the other side. Seems to be more comfortable this way and I can sit in it to take a brake. HTH :) SORRY I'm a little scatterbrained today ....here's the link:http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Flyer-2600-Discovery-Wagon/dp/B00005KBVH/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1201621918&sr=8-4 Edited January 29, 2008 by my2aboys

Fishboysmom Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 We have a Step2 wagon that ds12 got when he was 2. I has lasted through 2 more kids. They have gone down hills in it and we have also used it to carry heavy loads.I find it very sturdy. I would highly recommend it.Of course they have a newer version now. It has 2 seat belts, 2 drink holders and underseat storage. Mine doesn't have any of those features but they do sound nice. http://images.step2.com/images/products/766500_popup.jpghttp://www.step2.com/product.cfm?product_id=1149

The wagon is normally $59.XX, so try your local Target.
katiesmommy01 Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 I called Target...they took forever to try to see if they had it, but said they did not have any I think I'll probebly just run over to other targets tomorrow and look for myself...
amyers12345 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 We have the radio flyer with bucket seats, but DD is 3, not sure about older kids. You must do a lot of walking.. My son wouldn't have been caught dead in a stroller after he turned 3.
