hotchocolate Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Does anyone know what brand food processor is decent and does not cost an arm and a leg? And where I can purchase it from?
Azzycat Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I like Kitchenaid and Cuisinart brands. Target clearances them out once or twice a year. I think it's end of Sept (with back to school clearance) and in spring when they get new models of the small appliances in. I THINK that clearance is coming up in a month or two. Also keep checking amazon.com and www.lnt.com (Linen and Things..there are ALWAYS 20% off coupons for this store), www.kohls.com (same thing, there are ALWAYS coupons running) or Bed, Bath, and Beyond (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com) & Williams Sonoma carries them, too, of course, but IMO you'd definately want to catch that one on clearance. Maybe even Macy's.
chefpatty Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I like Kitchenaid and Cuisinart brands. Azzycat it right. If you want to go with a good one that will work well and last a long time get one of these. Just keep your eye out for a deal. They are to be had. And if you cream soups and make large batches of things go for at least a 10-cup.
Marvie227 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black is on Amazon for $129.99 with a $20 rebate. I have one of these and I love it!http://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KFP750OB-700-Watt-12-Cup-Processor/dp/B0002MH3OC/ref=pd_ts_k_11?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen
hotchocolate Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 thanks everybody for your input....i'll have to watch target to see if they clearance any of theirs....especially if they go 75% like their toys did!!!
tokanm Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I too agree with PP Kitchenaid. I got mine at QVC and love it. It was even on easy pay andhad a rebate www.qvc.com Although I have to say we bought a Magic Bullet and LOVE it..it does everythingincluding food processing.
