Brad
20 hour battery life is good - more than most 5gb players out there. the price is good as well. i'd still recommend the zen micro.
RossMAN
I agree, it's selling for around $218 shippedhttp://www.gottadeal.com/deals-category-mp3players.html
Brad
Creative is making so many versions of the Micro - 4GB, 5GB, 6GB, and an upcoming slightly-bigger 20GB. I like that they (for now) are keeping the greyscale display. Unlike some I have no desire for a color screen on something like this. No need to view photos on a 1.5" screen. Color just makes the price go up and battery life go down. http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=213&subcategory=214&product=10795
RossMAN
What are the benefits of the newer models (other than color display)?
Brad
they are all pretty much the same. none of the zen micros have color displays. i'd imagine the 20gb will have slightly less battery life. the 5gb version comes with "free" accessories. i got an extra battery with mine, but i don't know if they are still including those or not.
