wild4mn
I am planning to get one of the two movie services, are either offering any good deals right now? I couldn't find anything more than the standard 2 weeks for either. Thanks!
katiesmommy01
netflix doesnt really do "deals" other than the free trial month...however I've had the service for the past few years and have been really happy with it. The turn-over time is usually only 2-3 days and the site is pretty well organized (now and then i'm looking for something they dont have)...now they allow you to stream movies onto your computer as well (and not counting towards your delivery movies). A few times i've had movies not show as returned when i've returned them, but they just make a note and send your next movie to you...no charges. I think i sound like a netflix commercial, lol... mom2monkiesx3
I LOVE my netflix. We get movies every 2 days! I personally don't like my local Blockbuster therefore I wouldn't even TRY their program! We also recently signed up for Gamefly last night!! scrapwave
Just to offer a flipside view...I use blockbuster.com and love it. Have had the membership for a few years now so I still have the membership that gives us 2 coupons each month for either free movie or game rentals in store. This works GREAT for DS to use to rent video games. Also, with Blockbuster you can take the movies in to the local store and trade them in for a free in store rental. They drop them in the mail and as soon as the warehouse receives them you get more sent out to you...even if you still have movies from the store. So you can double up on movie rentals if you want to. I don't do that so much because our "local" blockbuster is 30 miles away...but I do sometimes swap online rentals for older--not due back in 2 days movies. And DS LOVES the game rentals. I don't think Blockbuster is still offering the free coupons to new customers though. Oh, and I have lost a blockbuster movie...completely my fault..I just lost it somehow. I just went online and notified them about it being lost and fully expected them to charge me for the movie. They never did...just took it out of my "have" list and sent me the next one on the list. No problems for me with Blockbuster! :)

lakisha78
I have a blockbuster.com membership and my family and I love it. We use it both instore and online and we usually receive our movies within a day, once we return them instore and 2days if returned by mail. emnnrwdc7 - code for 30 day trial to Blockbuster.com
Debbieandcaitlin
One thing I think I learned about Netflix is you want to see if there is a distribuation center close by. Ours is in a neighboring city so we have quick turn around. My sister is in MA and it can take up to two days in the mail to get to her house. Hope that helps.
