cmattison
My nephew has joined the Peace Corps and will be leaving for Africa after he graduates from college this coming June. I am trying to think of something to give him for Christmas that he will actually be able to take and use while in Africa. I have tried searching the web for ideas on what they can take and have had no luck. I hoping someone knows about the Peace Corps or could throw out an idea. He is 22. Marcster
Probably a bunch of handy stuff at an Army/Navy store or the Camping Supplies section of a Sporting Equipment store.

Guest Macrossmaster
Sierra Trading Post online has some awesome stuff. Think durable, human powered (no batteries), easy to carry and useful. Anything that makes simple tasks less time consuming is gonna be worth its weight in gold. I might suggest the survival water bottle that filters water as you drink it. That'd be super handy. But do some research on the best backpacks – he'll be carrying a lot around from place to place, and a good backpack is worth its weight in gold, especially if its comfortable!
