Refurbished iPod

Never bought a refurbished item before, but looking at one of the ipods over at the apple store. What can I expected w/ a refurbished Ipod? TIA

It'll look brand new. You'd probably never know the difference other than the fact that it says refurbished. Sometimes the packaging doesn't say refurbished.

I've bought several electronic items refurbished (Toshiba laptop, Sony car stereo, HP Ipaq, and a couple other items), and those are the best deals out there. Covered under factory warranty, just like new, and cheaper!

I have a refurbished Ipod and have had no problems. I look at like this...the kinks are already worked out.

My DS has a refurbished Nano and my DD has a new Nano....you can't tell the difference between the two. My youngest DD is getting a refurbished Nano from Santa. Santa's already ordered it from Apple and received it in the mail this week! :)

I have ordered around a dozen of them and the only difference that I can see is: they come in a rather plain brown box. All have worked perfectly.

Received mine yesterday and it came in the white ipod box and completely sealed. looks brand new!

I got a nano for my daughter last year from Apple. It did come in a plain brown box. Knowing my daughter, I bought a case and a itunes card and took the nano out of the packing box and put all the items in another box. It's still working great and she is none the wiser!

Love mine! I have a refurbished nano from Apple's site. I have had it for over one year with no problems at all.

I bought two last year and one was a dud. Apple seems to have a good return policy though. Just make sure to check it in time to return it.
