My DS is going from cubscouts to boyscouts this year. The Star Wars sleeping bag isn't cutting it anymore. :tongue1:

The last time they went camping, on a very cold night, my DH said it was time to get a good sleeping bag for him. Doesn't have to be a $400 bag but one that will keep him warm on a cold night.

I bought DH an Eddie Bauer long at Target, he loves it. Warm, comfortable and long enough. We live in Southern California, though. It doesn't get really, really cold here...although it seems plenty cold to us!

My husband and I were shopping for sleeping bags and a tent for the high desert(it gets cold there at night!), and after much looking, and initially thinking we'd end up with a Coleman or similar well-known brand, opted for the orange Sleep Cell 40x90 adult sleeping bag at WalMart(try Kmart as well). I looked for a pic on the WM site, but I guess they only sell them in store. Anyway, they were 18 bucks each, good for 30*F, and has side pockets you can unzip if you get too hot. We're really surprised for that price how great they are!
