Zenmervolt Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Found this while looking for CF cards on Pricegrabber. 2.2GB microdrive, 4,200RPM, $74 shipped ($67 + $7 shipping). Only caveat is that it appears not to play nicely with Canon Digital Rebels, otherwise it seems like a great deal on a microdrive that should never get filled up with your pictures. Link to the site.
Beau6183 Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Very nice :) Just picked one up. I've been stuck on a 128mb CF card in my nikon for too long.
Guest beatmix01 Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 wow i couldnt imagine having one of those in my powershot 400 i have a 512 card now and never fill it up.
i-bystander Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Told you it was a hot deal. :) Too bad my A70 can't use MDs. Is this the same size (thickness) as IBM MDs?
Zenmervolt Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 I don't know if it's the same thickness as the IBM drives. It hasn't arrived yet and I don't have an IBM drive to compare it with. I would assume that it is, however, since it does have to fit in a CF type II slot.

I was checking on the specs for the 8080, and I just found out it has two slots - how cool is that?!
