magellan 1200 -need answers

please some one advise me regaring the product magellan 12oo.

does it have street name announcements.

also how is it as compared to other products . is it worth the price .

I would buy the TomTom or Garmin over this. Just my opinion so just take it for that. It does not speak the street names. Also if you want POI's it only has about 1.3 million compared to over 5 million with most Garmins.
