vsa3janes Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Sorry if this is the wrong place for this thread but I searched for yesterday's post and dispite looking for it last night and this morning couldn't locate the original post. The post had a link for Snapple Tea in a offer for 120 bags for $4.99 after using a $10 Snapple coupon that automatically appeared on the site. I ordered 2 cases, the coupon flooded the field, checked out and pd for my order. Then later in the day rcvd an email from Amazon saying it had been cancelled because of a pricing error on their part. I used the "call me" feature on Amazon's site and talked to a rep. Because of their error they refunded the shipping cost of the remaining portion of my order and gave me a $25 credit for my next order. The credit was based on the original cost/difference of the tea. I wanted to let others know incase the same thing happen to them. Mod, if this is not the correct place to post this please pm me so I will know what to do next time.
edunn Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Thanks for posting this here. I did the exact same thing: bought 2, got the email about the order being cancelled, then couldn't find the original post here. I'm gonna call too, maybe get a credit as well. Worth a shot!

When I called Amazon I told the rep their actions were like a B&M accepting payment then stopping me at the door as I was leaving to say they changed the price. Maybe that is why he gave me a credit. He really didn't have anything to say when I used this comparison. I wish they would have honored my order. I really wanted the tea at that price.

I didn't realize the other thread already disappeared. I just meant sometimes when there are 2 threads not everyone checks to see who posted 1st and just reports 1,lol. I'm sure more people got in on it then only me? lol
