cpg117 Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 This happened once this summer at my local Sears but the computer outage was caused by a lighning strike. They had to call on every single credit purchase and the lines were outrageous. I was going to pay cash and asked why couldn't they open a cash only line and get those peoples sales and was told they could not and would not do that so left my stuff behind and never went back. People were buying for back to school and I wonder how many sales they lost that day. I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated for suggesting a cash only lane and sent an email to them and the manager from the store was suppose to call about the matter but never did.
