I placed my order on the 11/25 with this code. My order came to $15.85. My confirmation emal showed this amount with free shipping. I just talked to them today trying to find out the status on my order. They were out of 3 things I ordered so they decided to charge me shipping of $4.95 on my order of $4.00 on the products they had. They just today mailed the order. I would not recommend shopping with this company!

I kind of agree with you. I placed an order on Nov. 26 called today (sounded like the person was answering the call from their home!) to confirm and they said they did not receive my order. I really wanted those items for add on to xmas gifts.

Last hope for me is to send them an email. Will post the results.

I DEFINITELY would NEVER order from this place again!! I placed my order on November 26, received my email order confirmation the same afternoon. I called yesterday to confirm, also to be able to track delivery. They still had no record of my order, a week later. Also, I could hardly understand the customer service rep. Anyways, to say the least, my order was never received. :( This was the post for November 26. There was probably a website glich that allowed people to get multiply free items so instead of honoring the orders, the company "did not receive them" Get a Throw, Watch or Scarf Set for $.80 and free shipping post. Here is the beginning thread.....

I also ordered on 11/26. I just checked my account and the status is "sent." According to their website:

 

Sent = Your order has been placed, your payment information has been validated, and your order has been transmitted to our fulfillment center.

 

But something tells me I'm not going to see this order.

That should have been a warning that this might not work, I never get mad of deals like this that don't pan out. But I have always gotten my order from them, this year is the exception.

Would the discount code bringing the order to below $15 cause them to add shipping? My email confirmation says 'Shipping 0.00', but the total taken from my debit card is exactly $5.95 more than the email confirmation. The order came to $15.95 prior to that.

I don't get mad either. I did this last year. After a long wait I did finally get my order though. It's only been 6 business days.

Yeah not mad just wished I knew if I should count on it coming or not?!? An email or something. I did 2 orders one for $2 and really didn't expect it to come anyway. And another for $18 or so on my Dh's account which should have correctly recieved the free shipping and free throw BUT neigther have budged from the "submitted" stage

 

I think they are probally a good company BUT you might not order if you expect to recieve the items before Christmas?!?

I have to say that I had an issue with candles being out of stock, but then they took every step to make me happy. I would shop here again - even if they are out of stock on soething that shows instock online. Frustrating - yes, but they have good CS.

I placed 2 orders, one for 16.86 and the second came as 12.80 ($16 - 20% off). They charged me for both of them, which means the orders are shipped. The problem was that I was charged shipping 5.95 for the second order.

So i called CS and asked them first about the status on my orders. He said both are already shipped.

Then I told him about the 5.95 difference and he admited I was charged for shipping. I asked why the confirmation email I got for the order doesnt show it and he apologized. So in 24-48 hours I will be credited 5.95 towards my credit card.

The problem with their accent is this: they speak french mainly, so thats the accent :)

 

CONCLUSION: If you received a confirmation with 0 shipping, call them. Ask about the status on your order first (if the money is out of your account, this means they already shipped it). Then tell them you dont want to be charged for the shipping as you were never notified.

This company is definitely different. I think it's funny how all of us in the past month or so got all of our free gifts even though our "purchase" items weren't in stock. I ordered twice, and the first order, all I got was free items. Second, I got one item I ordered, then more free items. It's nice they sent the free items, but how does that benefit them financially?

Okayyyyyyyyy! I sent this so called company an email asking them what happened to my order and the email came back "mail-damion, domain is unknown". I called the 888 number and asked about my order and they said it was never received. I confirmed my name and address and they had no record of it. Was asked if I wanted to place an order and I said no thanks, I do not trust your company and when the order was canceled an email to that affect should have been sent stating the reason why my oder was canceled.

:gdparanoid: something fishy about this company...I also placed two orders and both show sent,but have yet to receive anything..not holding my breath though..it was a good "deal" rush at the time, but I knew they would catch on..after all if it seems too good to be true...:D

I finally got a conformation email this morning (only because I sent them an email when I ordered on 11/25). But the amount on it is different than what they told me over the phone yesterday. It also says "The delay in shipping your order is due to some products being temporarily unavailable." What is interesting about this is that they told me that I didn't get everything I ordered because they were out. :confused::rolleyes: I hope all of you have better luck than I am on this.

when it says sent on the site this is what sent means:

 

Sent = Your order has been placed, your payment information has been validated, and your order has been transmitted to our fulfillment center.

 

It doesn't mean it has been mailed to us yet...I don't think.... I could be wrong though. just what I read and a FYI

UPDATE: I just called Yves Rocher customer service wondering if anything had changed since my last conversation with them...out of curosity;)...well, they actually have record of my order. She said that all orders placed over the internet around 11/26 will be shipped out tomorrow night. The shipment should reach its destination within 10 days (my thoughts are about 12/17). She explained that there was a problem with their online order process that delayed most shipments. Plus, this customer service rep was the first one I have talked to that was very pleasant! :) I am still not holding my breath, but hopefully all our orders come in time for the Holiday..!
