i-bystander
Any deals on "regular" flash drives? You know, the ones that don't have fingerprint authentication...? :)
Brad
what size you need?
i-bystander
Speaking like a true Gottadeal-er: the biggest size at the cheapest price
Brad
This is a good deal if you can find someone to take the other one from you: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10399194 Note that the rebate is actually for $20, not $15, so your price is $54.99 shipped AR (minus the 5% coupon if they sent you one via e-mail in the last few days) They want $37 for 1 of them so 2 for $55 is a much better deal. i-bystander
Hmmm... I actually have a better coupon ($10 off $75). Does anyone want to go in on this with me?
i-bystander
I just read that the 'Shack is gonna have the 512MB Cruzer Micro USB2.0 Jumpdrives on sale for $39.99 - $20 rebate starting on the 15th. I'll wait and see if I can score one of those - I don't need to have it right now.
Brad
Yeah I saw that thread on AT. I thought you needed something sooner. I might try for that one as well.
i-bystander
Nah, we all have some version of stuff we "need" or are looking for (e.g., I already have a older, smaller flash drive, but I'd like a bigger one). Being GDers, we jump on hot deals - if there's one. Right now, seems like the 15th would be our best bet.
Brad
I just bought a 32MB USB 2.0 drive at Target yesterday for $8.00. Small capacity, but it is extremely tiny with a cool swivel cap. No rebate hassle either. It was one of these: http://www.imation.com/products/flash_devices/usb_swivel_drive.html Works good for most small stuff, but I'd still like something bigger. i-bystander
Exactly what I'm talking about! We already have one, but we always want something bigger, faster and stronger! It's a disease, I tell you...
Guest DigDoug
The other day I went to the orthodontist and they wanted me to check in with fingerprint recognition. Something happened where I was able to not have to do that, but it just seemed creepy.
