I went to Target yesterday to look at this tv. I did not see anything on the box that said HD. It says computer monitor/TV/DVD. I was not very impressed with it and didn't get it. Call your store and ask them about it.

I went to target the other day to look at it.. not impressed at all. the contrast ratio is only 400:1 which pretty much sucks. it wasn't clear AT ALL compared to all the other tv's. I ended up purchasing the $199 element tv that they have on sale this morning at curcuitcity.com.

I got mine set up with my cable hd source, picture is perfect!. who says this is not hd? the specs on the tv say HD 1080i and the picture is as good as my 32 hd 1080i lcd. The built in DVD player works pretty good also. this $199.00 lcd and the 30gb Zune i got for $70.00, in my opinion are the best deals of this BF...

We purchased this TV a few days back, put it up, and had it taken back down within hours. It is super cheesy. I was pretty disappointed. You get what you pay for, and this is a perfect example. I ended up going and getting the 32" Olivea at KMart on Thanksgiving day. Obviously a much bigger TV but the picture quality is night and day. Worth the extra $$$

If you hook up a Hd Tv to a non Hd source you will Get Cr*p for a picture . The best way to see how good of picturre you get is to play a DVD or hook it up to a true HD source!

I bought the 19" TV for my bedroom: just because this does not need clutter of equipment/wires: built in DVD. Yes, this is HD ready. I need an HD receiver from comcast: probably I will not buy it. DVDs play well. I hooked this up with my stereo system and the sound is simply superb. With hubby working at target: I ended up paying about 190 with tax. Great deal.
