Morngglry Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Was just told by a previous Sears worker that the computers switch over about 7pm on Wednesday night and will have BF deals inputted already. Is there any truth? If so, that would make shopping so much easier if I can just hit up a few stores Wednesday night and not have to worry about getting up early Friday!
bigjimslade Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Welcome to the community! I dont know if there is any truth to that but if it is true I know they will not sell you the items early. Most of the items are in the stock room shrink wrapped. For more info on BF at Sears please visit our Sears section at the link below. http://forums.gottadeal.com/forumdisplay.php?f=42
Guest RealLivePrinces Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Sears might be like Kohl's, in that they switch the ad Wednesday night and if you happen to see a sign on something, you can buy it then. Cashiers will honor anything already on the floor and signed with a BF price. But that doesn't include the frames, cameras and other limited early bird stuff.
Alexcat Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 ad set starts at 3:00 on Wednesday, however, early bird specials are not loaded until Friday Morning.

I went into my local sears on Sunday to check out the 46" sony bravia but ended up buying the 46" sharp instead. When I went to my local sears distribution center a guy picking up his sony 46" which he got for $1249.00 said he purchased the night before. He claims that it was on sale in the computer the night before just before closing which would be 9:00 pm here.
beachdude Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 i believe the person was referring to probably a dealer store and not a full line store. Most of the dealer stores close up before the full line store do. When the system is closed for that day it will then download the new prices for the next day. This may take from a few minutes to several minutes. The cash registers can then be turned on and the prices will be loaded in.
