amy0807
BellSouth, now AT&T, just announced a big price hike for their dial up plans. I live in the land that time forgot so we don't have any form of DSL or cable available and the satellite internet is a lot more expensive. Anyone know of an ISP that costs less than $22.95 a month? amy0807
I thought about AOL, and remembered a free trial I used a few years ago. Pulling it out of my PC was like trying to kill kudzu. lol Do you know if People PC still has that little ad box? It constantly pulls on the connection and slows it down so that pages time out instead of loading.

ggawlak
I must be your neighbor ... in the Land That Time Forgot! lol I currently use Netscape, which costs me under $10/month *and* is accelerated. By that I mean that the graphics are compressed so pages will load faster (if you ever want to see a high quality image, all you have to do is right-click it and it will reload full quality). I believe I had to commit to a year's worth of service to get the $9.94 price, but that was over a year ago and they've kept me at that rate. I'd like to get DSL, but there's just nothing reasonable (or available!) in this area!
