philcrew Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Walgreens is advertising Ty Jingle Beanies (4 inch) for 3/2.99. I couldn't find them in the store and asked where they were. The clerk said they didn't get any of them in, but they were selling the regular Beanie Babies for the same price. They rang up $5.99 each before he fixed the price to 3/2.99!
Penelope Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Walgreens had the same deal last year, and when I went, they did not have any of the TY Beanie Babies in stock. The cashier let me buy some different TY beanie babies for the sale price, so that was a good deal.
dmmiller Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Beanie babies are STILL popular? I have a box full of these dang things...
mtsuboy Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I still have a lot too. One year I used Beanie Baby's to spruce up my gift bags. Hard to imagine the frenzy they caused. I used to collect the Disney Beanies. Finally sold them at a yard sale for .50 each.
philcrew Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 That's exactly why I bought them--to tie on top of packages for my little niece and nephew.....can't beat $1 each to spruce up your wrapping!
babymains Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 The little jingle ones have a loop in the back so you can hang them. I am putting them on the tree. Same thing happened with the big beanies got a bunch for 1.00 a piece. I am giving them to the babies on my list.
