sweetheart76pa
I know we havent seen the big sporting goods store ads yet, but has anyone noticed any good deals on Gun Safes?
noehlp
I just searched the BF ads, and only came up with this: Military BX Rifle / Shotgun Case $29.99 HTH. Though I believe you may need to be military related to shop at that store?? Not sure though.
bigjimslade
You also might want to try local Army stores as they will sometimes have holiday sales.

heatherkw
Not even going to argue with the person above me. However nobody asked for your opinion. As to the OP Tractor Supply has one in their BF ad.

mas6010
I have a black friday ad for Dunham Sports and they have several gun safes in there.
littlesdcen
A discussion yes on a gun safe on sale not a gun owning debate. I was in Dicks this past weekend and saw some awesome deals on them. Walmart usually has a few for sale aroung this time of year. And Sams had a nice one for the price. Great fire rating on that one. nitrobol
Go to www.lowesmoving.com, sign up and they will email you a coupon. They have some nice gun safes there and the coupon is good for those. I picked up a Sentry Fire safe there and got it just over 560 w/tax.
heatherkw
I believe we should abolish the 1st amendment too, then It would end this discussion from you.
Marcster
I didn't know I needed to be asked first. I believe this is a discussion. This is a discussion about where to buy Gun Safes on Black Friday, not whether or not guns should be legal or not. Another comment about this and you can have a vacation from Gottadeal. Nobody likes a troll. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Threads/bantrolls.gif Read the rules here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=53669 And to everyone else: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Thread-Related/Troll/kitten1.jpg
tn-dave
The Lowes' safes are nice and pretty good deals. The ones at Bass Pro weren't marked down very much. I think the safes at Dick's are better prices. Cabela's might have a few on sale or check Wal-Mart if you aren't looking for a high-end.
tptguy
I'm sorry and apologize. I thought the title was bad grammar and meant are guns safe? With the question mark and all. I mean you don't see threads like "HDTV?" or "Laptop?" and with so many random threads staring, I wouldn't have been surprised. It wont happen again. genoandkiddo
I don't know where hubby got his, but I know that Scheel's normally on bf have great deals on gun safe's and gun cabinets. I think last year they included a free gun cleaning kit with the purchase of a safe or cabinet, not sure though. Brain isn't young anymore. Birdieman37
Dick's has 4 of them in their ad for BF. They are 2 day sale items, not doorbusters. They hold the following # of guns iirc: 36, 28, 24, and 10.
Kelvrick
Joining late to the discussion, but I think for a HSC rated safe, costco has that Cannon for like 650 delivered. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?whse=BC&topnav=&prodid=11234777&ec=BC-EC877-CatHome&pos=9&lang=en-US Otherwise, I always liked http://www.sturdysafe.com/

I guess the college education I've paid for isn't what its worth... anyway DH is an avid hunter and happens to have some hunting guns (not hand guns). I would like to have them in a safe to prevent them from getting into the wrong hands and becoming "UNSAFE" if our house were ever broken into. thanks to all of the other posters for understanding what I was asking and I will be watching for the Dunham's and Dick's BF ads.
