Circuit City closing 19 stores - sale TODAY!

A few select Circuit City stores will be open today (Friday 2/18/2005) with a close-out sale before finally closing the stores. Most of the items sold will be refurbished, open box, etc.

Oh, boy... again?! Didn't they just close several stores a little while ago? Is Best Buy really killing Circuit City, or is it someone else? Too bad... none of those stores are close by me.

The last one on the list is about 25 minutes from here. Don't know if it's worth the trip. Anyone know what % discounts most stuff is being offered at?

Too bad... none of those stores are close by me.

I actually prefer to shop at Circuit City over Best Buy.

I'm not crazy about their super long receipts especially if you just want to buy a music CD.

I bought a few DVDs at Best Buy the other day, and I was given like 3 credit card applications, 12 months of SI, blah blah blah.. and a whole freakin scroll of paper-- they waste WAY to much paper. :indiffere

Parma and North Randall are pretty close to me... well only if they have great deals that is! Thanks for the info !
