missyjane
I was in Christopher & Banks last night and the sales lady informed me that they are running a sale Saturday and Sunday Only. 40% off the entire store!! Needless to say I found some items and they were happy to hold them for me. This kind of sale is unheard of for this store, run don't walk! aidansmommy
Yes, I got an email from them about this- it is their Friends and Family Sale, 40% off everything except gift cards!! The email stated to print and bring in the ad, but I am not sure that you would have to have it. I love to shop there, so I will be heading out this evening! bugsette
do you think that on the clearence itms?
aidansmommy
It does include everything, even clearance. I went tonight and got one pair of jeans, 4 shirts, and a sweater for $62. Some of the clearance shirts were marked down to 4.99 which made them 2.99 after the discount. There were some really good deals. The clerk said this is the first annual sale, so they will probably have it every November and possibly an additional one in the spring.
cpg117
I was there today and the line was as long as the store is deep. The lady in front of me bought over $1000 and paid $600. The clearance items were included. In my stores it was mostly fall stock that was going to get clearanced out but maybe not at that percentage to start. They are doing a housecleaning and will be bringing in the new stock for Christmas after the sale is completed. My store only has one register and that caused the long line to cash out but everyone in line was friendly and having fun, all we needed were refreshments. Guest online_assistan
My mom went into CJBanks and she said it was crazy busy people lined up and no where to walk it was that busy. I guess they went under a new CEO last year and since then they have started a new marketing campaign. She said she got a ton of clothes (new winter/fall sweaters) and it cost barely anything.. missyjane
Yes, my store was absolutely crazy on Saturday. I lucked out by going on Friday, I picked out everything I wanted and they held it for me to pick up on Saturday. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes but it was certainly worth it. I love that store and I'm so glad they had this sale, I'll have to check out how bare it is this week. Tuesday is mark down day so if they only have 1 or 2 of an item left it usually goes to mark down. So I'll definitely have to check that out.
