RossMAN Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I wonder which PVR applications (MythTV, SageTV, BeyondMedia) will support this? This is a must have for any serious HTPC :)
Brad Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 System Requirements: WindowsXP Media Center Edition 2005, WindowsXP Home or WindowsXP ProfessionalNote: when using the WinTV-PVR-500MCE with WindowsXP, you need a third party TV application such as MythTV, SageTV or BeyondTV so it looks like it would work
RossMAN Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 This is so tempting mainly because it would only occupy one PCI slot rather than two.
Brad Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I'd wait until they get them in stock as you will get free shipping where if you order now they won't give you free shipping.
RossMAN Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 If only there was still a $15 off $200 coupon
Brad Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 there is still a $10 off $150 coupon for new customers, and it's pretty easy to persuade buy.com's server that you are a new customer :)

RossMAN Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 We only use the Tivo series 2 right now. The TV Tuner cards were just to play around with and they were cheap. Just two TV's a 27" and 13".
