I wonder how those parents that paid $400+ on ebay feel now?
I imagine most feel pretty stupid, but I'm sure there are those that still feel justified because their kids had them first and they were able to put them under the tree. My kids were/are young enough they really don't know the difference, but they sure were excited getting an unexpected surprise in January when we found them at Wal-mart. I was still not thrilled with spending the $35 on the stupid thing though. I can't even begin to imagine paying more than that.

But what do you think will be "the can't live without, must have toy"?
I think the Furreal Parrot is going to be hot, but maybe it's because I want one myself. But I think Ally will want one too.
So what are your thoughts???????

I paid $35 and STILL had them under the tree...almost only had one (got one for my boys, and one for my nieces), but as it got closer to Christmas, they became easier to find...ordered one online, and then the second one was about one of eight on an endcap at Target maybe a week before the holiday...people who'd pay $400 for one of them (or for any regularly priced $35 toy) are insane! I'm sorry, I love my kids more than life itself, but what does it teach them if you'll pay unrealistic prices for a TOY they want, when they can wait until another time (ie., birthday, good report card, etc.) and you can buy it at a reasonable price? And if you're going to go to those lengths when your child is that young, you are in for a world of trouble when they become a teenager and want the "IT" thing...just my 2 cents...

I saw one of these last night at Walmart. Scared the crap out of me
I was just walking along the toy isle, minding my own business and then this thing
starts yelling at me! After I looked around, i noticed that Parrot sitting on the
bottom shelf. LOL
I then remembered you all talking about this. He is cute.

Yeah, FP sent DS the DVD for the planet heroes a few weeks ago, and he was enthralled. I thought it was rather cool that signing up on their site for emails and stuff got him such a cool freebie.
I've been keeping a lookout for them, but so far no dice.
my ds4 loves the dvd and wants the toys!

Why is Walmart's Wii bundle so much? I added up everything and they overshot the thing by almost $100!!!
Plus the shipping is outrageous(when I checked it was $90+! )I got my bundle from Gamestop a few months ago, shipping was much better. I did recently see some Wii's in a Target though, one that doesn't get as much traffic.
