Looking for an MP3 player that is around $40.

I don't know much about MP3 players but I would like something I can play my songs on without being limited to a cd or tethered to my radio.

 

I would like a 1GB MP3 player that's around $40. Preferably with a screen so I can see the song name and other info.

 

I've been looking at these:

Nextar 1 GB Sport MP3 Player

 

Mach Speed 1GB MP3

 

But I don't know if they're good MP3 players or not. There's so many out there that it's hard to find reviews for the lower end ones.

Could someone please recommend a good MP3 player for listening to music and radio, and something that will last (I've seen a lot of comments about players not working after just a few months)

i gt the lyra at wal mart for under $40 i like it but mine is only 512 whatever,just under 1 GB but it holds enough songs for me had it for about a year no problems yet

Thanks. I'm going tomorrow to go look at what different stores have, then I'll make my decision.

I don't want shipping to kill the deal but tax can be just as bad.

Yeah, I got 4 of them today (for my whole family, not all for myself )

This should hold me over for a while.
